3월 15일 부터 학생비자, Work permit, 또는 무비자로 캐나다로 입국할시에 eTA (Electronic Travel Authorization) 있어야 합니다. 해당 되시는 분들은 지금 신청하셔야 합니다.

As of March 15, 2016, visa-exempt foreign nationals who fly to or transit through Canada are expected to have an an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA). Exceptions include U.S. citizens and travellers with a valid Canadian visa. However, from March 15, 2016 until fall 2016, travellers who do not have an eTA can board their flight, as long as they have appropriate travel documents, such as a valid passport.

already have a study or work permit, do I need to apply for an eTA?

If you are a student or foreign worker already in Canada on a valid study and work permit, you will not need an eTA as long as you do not leave Canada and seek to return by air.

If you plan to leave and then return to Canada by air, you will need to get an eTA.
