본 실험은 종양 치료에서 사용되는 약물이 체내의 특성에 따라 어떻게 방출이 되는지 확인하기 위해 시행하였다. 파클리탁셀은 종양을 치료하기 위한 요법 중 하나로 가장 광범위하고 효과적인 화학 약물이다. 파클리탁셀의 Disk 제작 과정에서 다량의 고가 약물이 소비 되므로 같은 소수성 성질을 지닌 acetaminophen을 model drug로 사용하였다. 그리고 속도 제어를 위하여PEVA로 코팅하여 실험하였다. 체내 이식용 임플란트에서의 표면에서 약물을 방출하는 특성은 인체온도인 37℃를 기준으로 평가하고 있으며 많은 연구 결과들이 보고되어지고 있다. 그러나 특정한 온도조건에서 종양 치료를 실시하는 능동형 약물방출특성에 관한 연구보고는 아직 이루어지지 않고 있다. 특정한 온도 조건에서 적절한 양의 약물을 방출하기 위해서는 약물을 포함하는 코팅층의 제작에 관한 연구가 필요하며 특정온도에서 약물방출특성에 관한 연구가 필수적이다. 시험은 시간, 배율 그리고 온도조건에 따라서 약물 방출 정도를 분석하였다.
This experiment was conducted to confirm that how there is a release drug used in the treatment of tumors according to the characteristics of the body.
