2-3) When the vessel is as a standstill and headed into the wind and wave direction.
4-1) Lower the port side anchor to water level by control of windlass driving.

4-2) Let go by free fall three(3) shots of port anchor chain to fully submerged.

     During let go operation, apply the windlass nrake at every about 1/2 shot of chain.

4-3) Hoist the port side anchor until 3 shots anchor chain are remained from chain compressor to anchor.

4-4) Hoist the port side anchor until the anchor is stowed at it`s home position and check the speed,

     amperage, oil pressure and the stowage condition of anchor.

4-5) Repeat above steps 4-1) to 4-4) for starboard windlass.
