Virtuous Inquisition is a an ICS (4.0.1) Senseless ROM, meaning essentially all Sense components have been removed in favor of their AOSP counterparts. Everything except the camera app has been replaced.
I am releasing this ROM as a beta; it isn't to my standards quite yet. There are several issues I already know about and intend to fix but wanted to make it available to you all to start providing feedback. Any work, such as mods or fixes, you would like to contribute would be gladly accepted. The project has one goal, to provide a ROM which is as close-to-AOSP-ICS as possible.
Features
•Based off the Sensation ICS test leak, released by RCTeam (thank you).
•Sense has effectively been removed. Some components may be coming back (such as the camera and music player), as they are better than their AOSP counterparts. I'll provide an option for purists who want AOSP-only-no-matter-what.
•Virtuous OC daemon. No overclocking support, but it will turn CPU1 on for you automatically upon unlock, which was the goal of including it.
•Pre-rooted with the latest version of Superuser and modified ramdisk to allow adb remount, mock locations, etc.
•IO optimizations including the use of ext4 with writeback journaling for all mounts and larger read-ahead buffer for improved sdcard performance.
•Automated battery calibration. Just plug your phone in after a wipe and charge it to full (preferably overnight), then let our script do the rest.
•Over the air updates via ROM Manager.
Known Issues
•Initial boot after a wipe sometimes hangs while populating the dalvik cache. If your first boot takes longer than 5 minutes, simply pull the ㅣ battery and boot again. It will boot properly the second time. Fixed in 1.2.
•Mobile data is not started by default. All you need to do is turn it on. Fixed in 1.3.
•The lockscreen does not change during an inbound call. Obviously the phone will ring but you will not see the caller information on the screen until you unlock the phone.
•The default home screen setup is not done. This just means I haven't placed a default set of icons and wallpapers automatically. Most of you would change anything I did anyway but it's a problem nontheless. Fixed in 1.3.
