Two days of torrential rains and high winds have caused floods and landslides in several states. 

Hurricane Ingrid is expected to make landfall on Mexico's Gulf coast on Monday, while Tropical Storm Manuel approaches from the Pacific. 

The severe weather led to the cancellation of Independence Day celebrations in many Mexican towns.

Thousands of people have been forced to leave their homes. 

On the Gulf of Mexico, more than 6,000 people have been evacuated ahead of Hurricane Ingrid, which is expected to make landfall in the next hours.

It already has winds of 120km/h (75mph), causing widespread damage particularly in Veracruz and Tamaulipas states.

Tropical Storm Manuel has hit the western coast, on the Pacific Ocean, bringing almost twice the monthly rainfall in just three days.

영화 '퍼펙트스톰'에서 보면 두 개 이상의 태풍이 합쳐져 상상 이상의 초거대 태풍'퍼펙트스톰'을 만들어 내는데  이 보도를 보니 그게 연상되네요

이런 경우가 상당히 드물텐데요
