(가사는 지식인에서 퍼옴) 사실 Buggles는 자신들이 만든 대박싱글을 넘지못하고 주저앉아버린 Turtles와는 해체사유가 다릅니다. 1집 수록곡 Video Killed the Radio Star로 대박을 거두었지만 이어지는 2집 Adventures in Modern Recording를 제작중에 멤버 중 한명인 Geoff Downes(왼쪽에 장발 아저씨)가 탈퇴를 하고맙니다. 홀로남은 Trevor Horn (오른쪽 안경)이 2집을 마무리하긴 했지만, 1집을 넘지 못했다는 미적지근한 반응(2집만 평하자면 그것 나름대로 평이 좋다고 합니다)과 함께 결국 밴드는 해체되고 맙니다. 라디오스타에서 나오던 그 노래는 PUSA(President of United States of America)라는 미국의 펑크밴드가 리메이크한 노래입니다.
