팬덤 전체가 공유하고 여러 2차 창작에 사용될 수 있는 포니 케릭터들을 얻기 위해선 팬덤 모두가 합의할 수 있고 동의할 수 있는 2차 창작 캐릭터가 필요하겠죠. 그게 OC를 만드는 대신 로렌 파우스트 님께 청원을 내는 이유입니다. 해스브로가 Fighting is Magic 계발 중단을 위해 Cease and Desist를 편지를 보냈을 때는 다음과 같은 내용이 있었죠-Fighting is Magic Team에서 밝힌 내용입니다. We have received a C and D letter from Hasbro's Legal representatives, asking us to cease game development, remove any materials that might contain My Little Pony characters, names, locations or related elements from the sites we control (Our site, our youtube, our twitch), and cease any further use of [their] MY LITTLE PONY property". [해석] 우리는 하스브로의 법률 대표인들로부터 개발 중단 요청을 받았습니다. 개발을 중단하고, 우리가 관리하고 있는 사이트에서 MLP의 어떤 캐릭터나 이름이나 장소 혹은 연관 된 모든 자료들을 삭제하라는 메시지였죠. 제가 로렌 파우스트 경에서 목소리를 모아 보내기로 한 청원은 MLP의 케릭터, 이름 그리고 장소의 사용을 피해서 최대한 저작권 문제를 피할 수 있는 2 차 창작 여건을 만들자는 운동입니다. 그리고, 해스브로의 패러디로 간주할 수 있는 연관 된 모든 자료들이란 언급이 진짜 법에 문제가 된다면 어떤 패러디도 이세상에 존재할 수 없겠죠.
로렌 파우스님께 청원을 보내는 또 다른 이유는 로렌 파우스트 님이 원래 MLP : FIM을 만들 때 가지고 있던 생각을 이어나가기 위함입니다. 로렌 파우스트님이 MLP : FIM을 만들 때 가졌던 생각이 오늘날의 MLP : FIM을 탄생시켰으니까요. 아래는 로렌 파우스트 님의 MLP : FIM 기획 의도입니다.

The petition for Making New six Pony characters.
Hello, Lauren Faust. We are your dutiful Fan and love MLP : FIM series. Lauren Faust you said before, why you make MLP : FIM. We Bronies got your message when we see your creation. Your message has save more 1000 life from suicide and your message has sparkled more than million peoples mind. But Recent Hasbro Over Protection and its greedy mind of Company, destroyed what you believe or idea that you want to give us.
Fighting is Magic’s Cease and Desist incident. It already damaged pretty much of Brony Fandom itself. People are discouraged unlike you hoped when you made Friendship is Magic. We can’t have a good Fan creation for very long time in this situation. Fandoms love, Tolerance and Friendship is now faced destruction. Please help Millions of People’s hope. You said you can make new character as Public offer. Can you make new Pony character instead of perfectly new? I believe it is only way to save this fandom from falling and make it stand decades of years.

By new characters, we can able to keep our Fan Creation; able to keep their sprit within new characters. A Company can’t coined a terms like love, Tolerance and Friendship which so many people were died for defending them in history. We don’t want to lose Brony Fandom who has those magical sprites.
Society can’t only stand with law. Solider and Police Brony protect Hasbro from harm, Government officer Brony help their work, Power Plant worker Brony and Labor Brony does same like other. We know our Community’s taxes are spending for them like making road, international network service and electricity. They are true.
In US, more than 200 years before, people were died for freedom. They did in for free even though no law forces them. If US are remained UK’s part of province, I’m doubt which Hasbro even can appear in world.
Anyway, Hasbro and Fandom meanto be live together. I lunched this petition because I know that true.
