Some say love it is a river that drowns the tender reed
어떤 이들은 사랑이 부드러운 갈대를 잠기게 하는 강과 같다고 하지.

Some say love it is a razor that leaves your soul to bleed
또 어떤 사람은 사랑은 네 영혼이 피흘리도록 하는 면도칼과 같다고 하더구나.

Some say love it is a hunger an endless, aching need
어떤 사람은 사랑은 마음이 아릴 정도의, 끝나지 않을 욕구를 향한 갈망이라지.

I say love it is a flower, and you it's only seed
내 생각에 사랑은말야, 꽃과 같은거야.
그리고 넌 그저 씨앗일 뿐이지.

 

It's the heart afraid of breaking that never learns to dance
이건, 다칠까 두려워 춤추는 법을 절대 배우지 않는 마음과 마찬가지야

이건, 기회를 잡지 못하는게 두려워 깨어나길 두려워하는 꿈과 다름없어

이건, 돌려주지 못할것을 걱정해 받지 않으려는 사람과 같아

죽기를 두려워하는 영혼은, 사는 법을 절대 배울 수 없단다.
