When the Earth was still flat And clouds made of fire

그 때 3개의 성이 있었는데

등이 붙은 것 같은 두 남자를 해의 아이들이라고 불렀어

그리고 비슷한 모양과 크기는 땅의 아이들이였어

그들은 두 소녀가 하나로 합쳐진 듯 보였어

They was part sun, part Earth, Part daughter, part son

Now the gods grew quite scared Of our strength and defiance

이제 신들은 그들의 힘과 저항에 겁을 내기 시작했어

And Thor said," I'm gonna kill them all with my hammer like i killed the giants"

But Zeus said, "No, You better let me Use my lightning like scissors
 Like I cut the legs off the whales Dinosaurs into lizards.” 
하지만 제우스가 말했어 " 아니야 , 내가 고래의 다리를 자르고 공룡을 도마뱀으로 자른 것처럼 내 번개가위로 자르는 것이 나아"

And then he grabbed up some bolts he let out a laugh said,
그리고 그 때 그는 번개를 들고 웃으면서 말했어
 “I’ll split them right down the middle Gonna cut them right up in half.” 
나는  그들을 정확히 한 가운데를 반쪽으로 갈라줄거야
And the storm clouds gathered above Into great balls of fire 
그리고 비구름들이 모여서 거대한 불덩어리가 됐어
And then fire shot down From the sky in bolts Like shining blades Of a knife 
반짝이는 칼의 날처럼 하늘에서 벼락이 불이 되어 떨어졌지

And it ripped Right through the flesh Of the children of the sun And the moon And the earth 
그리고 땅과 달과 해의 아이들의 살을 찢어서 갈라 놓았어
And some Indian god Sewed the wound up to a hole Pulled around to our bellies
그리고 인도 신이 상처를 꿰매 작은 구멍을 만들어서 배꼽을 만들었어

And Osiris and the gods of the Nile Gathered up a big storm To blow a hurricane
