저에게 영향을 준 인물에 대한 이야기를 시작하겠습니다.
초등학교 2학년때, 제 담임선생님은 저에게 큰 영향을 주었습니다.
선생님은 내가 잘못햇을 때, 저에게 질책보다는 많은 조언과 팁을 주었습니다.
예를 들어서, 도서관에서 책을 빌릴 때 무제한으로 빌릴수 있게 해주었고, 저에게 맞는 책을 선택해주었습니다.
또한, 잘못된 행동을 하였을 때 질책보다는 교훈되는 말씀과, 책읽고 독후감 써오라는 벌을 주셨고, 잘했을 경우에는 저에게 맞는 책들을 선물해주셨습니다.
아직도 생각나는 책이 우리나라전래동화100선이였습니다.
누가 보면 책을 많이 읽게 한 선생님이 그렇게 크게 영향을 주었을까 라는 생각이 들겠지만, 저에게는 나쁜길로 빠지지 않고, 여러상황에서 대처할수 있는 지혜, 그리고 사람들을 대하는 방법과 그에 맞는 예의범절을 가르쳐준 책이 있었고, 책들을 읽게 만들어준 선생님이 있기 때문에 이 자리에 제가 있다고 생각이 듭니다.
