콩닥콩닥, 두근두근하면서 봤죠..
그러나, 보고나서 유일한 느낀점은 기분이 많이 착잡하다는거;;???

well, it's clearly not on the list... that would be just a bad choice from BH ;)
red john is Walter Mashburn, believe it or not, i got it and it's him.
Patrick Jane and Red John got almost the same value to The Mentalist, yes, because Red John is a mentalist too, the show is about both.
we have so many clues that they are perfectly alike, that in the middle of the show all of us thought they were the same ^^ It makes perfect sense that they would get along when they meet.. like with Walter.
from all the guys that tried, Walter was the only one who could seduce Lisbon to sleep with... so Patrick and RJ have the same taste and interests, same to Lisbon :)
btw, it's also an huge twist to see that Lisbon slept with the man who killed Patrick Jane family...
Walter Mashburn said to Patrick Jane that his 3rd wife was into that mystical and psychic stuff. Well, who is Jane's? Christina Frye...
That explains how RJ didn't kill her when he kidnapped her... simply because he liked her too, she was his wife.
Again, Patrick liked Christina, and Christina also liked PJ, they were into each other, both got into a date, same personalities same tastes... (like Lisbon)
btw, in the season finale, RJ said to PJ that "christina would want me to send her love, she's very fond of you despite your differences" for me, it looks like he knows Christina Frye very well, and their differences..
for me, after knowing Walter and then watching the earlier episodes where the Blind Girl describes Roy (RJ), i said to myself "damn... she's describing Walter Mashburn..."
all of this besides Walter being a billionaire with an huge power and all that kind of stuff... (and the imdb fail describing him as the Red John and then remove it a few hours later in the past week).
and the last clue? Red John is a manipulator right? till now every minion loved Red John... so i have to say that i know that all of us loved Walter Mashburn with that natural personality... that's how Red John is :)
