I'm a student in a U.S. University. My family immigrated to the U.S. five years ago- my family still lives in LA, but I am attending a college on the opposite coast-hence, alone.
There are kids who are friggin changing the world in my age.
One of my classmates invented some poker simulator and is now the primary consultant of one of Las Vegas' premier gambling outlets.
Another of my classmates just won a $50,000 grant to fix up a third world country.
Another of my classmates has meals with professors and company representatives almost every other day.
What am I doing staying in this sh*tty room 24/7, struggling just to finish the damn hw, and in general just wasting my life away?
Sigh...
With my ;!@$#%@#% gpa, I won't even make it to grad school...
Since I'm Korean, I eventually want to go back to Korea, but to what avail? Without a master's degree, I will be trumped by all the geniuses out there.
In the end, I will waste my life away as a salesman, slaving away at endless piles of work in a backward company, once again cursing my life in a career dead-end.
