민주주의에 관한 내용을 독해중인데, 어떤문장은 독해가 안되는것도 있고
어떤문장은 무슨말인지는 이해가 가는데 도무지 한국어로 정리가 안되네요 - _-;
영어실력도 떨어지지만 국어실력도 만만치않게 떨어져서요 ㅠ

The modern democratic governments like those of the United States, England, France, and Switzeland are representative democracies.

In a democracy it is important that people have facts about political affairs, so that they can vote wisely. Moreover without freedom of the press they could not give their views to their fellow men.

They learn from participating in the work of government and feel a sense of dignity that comes from self-government. The strongest argument for democracy is that where there is no democracy, men are told what to do by other men and often lose their right to happiness.
