1. Even after a day had passed, no actual rescue acts were taken. On 17th, The headquarters originally reported that the rescue team had succeeded in entering the ship, which later proved to be false. Due to simillar repeated incidences, families of the missing do not trust the Emergency headquarter anymore. Two days had passed, and the headquarters still know neither the exact number of the missing nor the aboard. The Police stated that they had saved 169 people, but hadn't reported it for 10hours since. The headquarters repeat the same rescue plans, which none of them went accordingly. What is even worse, politicians have been visiting Jindo, just to take photos of themselves to win public votes on the race in June.
2. On April 18th, 11:23, the headquarters announced that the rescue team had succeeded in entering the ship's dining room. An hour later, they reversed their original statement. Later that day, 13:55, KBS reported rescue team's success, while another medium reported failure. On 15:30, the headquarter announced failure. On 17th, 12:30, the headquartes declared they'd begin pumping oxygen into the ship. However, they soon changed their words, reporting that the neccessary machines will arrive at 17:00, if quick. The repeating false reports are occuring due to lack of communication between the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fishery and the Ministry of Security and Public Administration.
3. The headquarters are telling the families that they should start the salvage operations at least tomorrow. The operation is said to take at least a month. If it starts, that means any survivors still aboard will die. Stating that they will start the operation only means that they are treating the childrens' lives lightly. Even 17 of the 30 sailors were saved, and the Captain abandoned the ship.
