I have been in Melbourne 3 months and am here on working & holiday visa.
I barely eat hamburger like McDonald's, Hungry jacks or KFC, but suddenly I was craving burger after night shift work.
so I headed to McDonald's and tried to make an order.
Actually, that was my first time to get some food from the store after arrived in Melbourne.
I was kinda nervous.
The cashier goes,
" Hi, how are you?"
I hesitated before replying.
My question is that did she really want to know how I am or is that greeting or something like that?
