We've understood that I Got C is on fire in South Korea and we are receiving a lot of emails about plagiarism/likeliness to our songs.
지금 한국에서 'I Go C'가 굉장한 화제가 되고 있다는 것을 알고 있고, 우리 또한 우리 곡들과의 표절/유사성에 대한 이메일을 많이 받고 있습니다.
Let me introduce myself. I am part of the songwriting team, producer and manager of the Caro Emerald project
우선 제 소개를 하죠. 저는 카로 에메랄드 프로젝트 작곡팀, 프로듀서, 매니저로 참여한 사람입니다.
First of all, I am happy to see that our msic is getting popular in S-Korea. I heard 'I Got C' yesterday because someone sent me a link. I love the track, the production is hot and even though I don't understand the lyrics, I have to say the song is very hooky. I can perfectly understand why this is a big hit!!!
우선 우리 음악이 한국에서 이렇게 인기를 얻고 있어 기쁩니다. 누군가 링크를 보내줘서 어제 처음 'I Got C'를 들었는데 정말 마음에 들었습니다. 굉장히 멋진 프로덕션이고 가사를 알아 듣지 못해도 귀게 착착 감길 정도로 좋은 곡이라고 말하고 싶네요. 왜 그렇게 큰 히트를 쳤다는건지 완벽하게 이해할 수 있었습니다.

When I listen to "I Got C", I can hear that a lot of the inspiration comes from three of our songs.
내가 'I Got C'를 들었을때 우리 곡 중 3곡에서 많은 영감을 받았다는 것을 느낄 수 있었습니다.
The piano intro is similar to our Caro Emerald Song "You Don't Love Me"
피아노 인트로는 우리(카로 에메랄드) 곡인 'You Don't Live Me'와 유사합니다.
the horn sample in the chorus is identical to (if not sampled from) the horns from "You Don't Love Me"
코러스에 들어가는 호른 샘플은 'You Don't Love Me'와 동일합니다.
this is probably too similar and could well be seen as plagiarism
이 부분은 아마도 지나치게 유사하기 때문에 표절로 볼 수도 있을 것입니다.
The chorus and melody in the verses are identical to our song "Liquid Lunch". Some parts are so identical they could also be seen as plagiarism.
벌스의 멜로디와 코러스는 우리 곡인 'Liquid Lunch'와 동일합니다. 몇몇 부분은 지나치게 똑같아서 이 또한 표절이라고 볼 수도 있을 것입니다.
The breakdown middle (8?) has idendical chords to our song "Paris"
중간의 브레이크다운 부분은 우리 곡 'Paris'의 코드와 동일합니다.
"I Got C" sounds like a remix of theses songs. I don't agree with Primary if he says that this is part of the swing genre. The elements he uses are clearly copied from our songs and arrangements.
'I Got C'는 위 곡들의 리믹스처럼 들립니다. 만약 프라이머리가 이 부분이 스윙 장르의 유사성이라고 주장한다면 저는 이 의견에 동의하지 않습니다. 이 부분들은 우리 곡과 편곡에서 명백하게 베낀 복제한 것입니다.

This Song was released worldwide in Europe (including S-Korea on iTunes only) on January 29, 2010 by us (Grandmono).
이 곡은 유럽(한국에서는 아이튠즈에서만)에서 우리(Grandmono)를 통해 2010년 1월 29일 발매됐습니다.
"Happy Ending" is clearly based on "I Know That He's Mine".
'Happy Ending'은 명백하게 'I Know That He's Mine'을 기반으로 하고 있습니다.
It has the exact same chord scheme. If you strip away the melody, it's basically our song. That's very much plagiarism.
이는 완벽하게 똑같은 코드 체계를 갖고 있습니다. 멜로디를 제외하면 그냥 우리 곡이라고 해도 무방합니다. 이게 바로 표절이라고 할 수 있죠.
Primary also copies my arrangements for "I Know That He's Mine" and "The Other Woman" like the strum guitars, the guitar solo, horns, harmonica, baritone sax and percussion and brass.
프라이머리는 또 'I Know That He's Mine'과 'The Other Woman'에서 스트럼 기타, 기타 솔로, 호른, 하모니카, 바리톤 색소폰, 타악기와 브라스와 같은 나의 악기 배열을 베꼈습니다.
It's tricky to say if this is plagiarism, but it's just not very original to say the least.. The combination of the same chords and copied arrangemet make it more likeley to say that this is plagiarism of our song "I Know That He's mine"
이걸 표절로 봐야될지는 조금 애매합니다, 하지만 적어도 독창적이지 않다고 말할 수 있습니다. 같은 코드와 복제된 편곡은 이 곡이 우리 'I Know That He's Mine'을 표절했을 가능성이 높다고 할 수 있을 것 같습니다.

The chords scheme, song structure, drumtrack, instrumentation, arrangement(horns, piano chord breaks, handclaps, DJ cuts etc) are identical and clearly a rip off of our song "One Day", I do love the way Primary did this. it sounds very fresh. But it is very close to "One Day"
코드 체계와 곡 구성, 드럼, 악기, 호른, 피아노 코드, 브레이크 다운, 박수소리, DJ 컷 등은 우리 곡 'One Day'와 동일하고 명백하게 훔쳐온 것이라 할 수 있습니다.

Is all of this plagiarism? I think it's up to a judge to decide this. not to us.
그렇다면 이 모든 것을 표절로 봐야 되는가? 그것은 우리가 아닌 판사가 판단해야 될 문제라고 봅니다.
I would like to say that Primary souds like a talented Producer.
프라이머리는 재능 있는 프로듀서로 보입니다.
He uses our music as a template to create his own, which is an honour but on some songs he's just going too far with it.
그는 우리 음악을 기본틀로 삼아 자신의 곡을 만드는데 영광이기는 하지만 몇몇 곡들은 너무 과하게 베꼈다고 봅니다.
I would like to say he should start trusting his own talent because he sure is a good producer!
그가 좋은 프로듀서임엔 틀림없기 때문에 이제부터는 자신의 재능을 믿어야 한다고 말해주고 싶습니다.
Hopefully, Primary's current success will help introduce our music to the South Korean public.
