A brain scan by a South Korean psychiatrist found specific changes in key circuits that process fear in the brain of Korean adults who were exposed to domestic violence as a child, claiming such experiences can have serious lifelong consequences on victim both emotionally and clinically 

한국인 정신과의에 의해 이루어진 뇌스캔연구를 통해
유년기에 가정학대에 노출되었던 한국인의 뇌에서 두려움을 처리하는 주요한 회로에서  특정한 변화를 찾아냈고 그러한 경험들은 정신적으로나 임상적으로 평생의 심각한 결과를 가질수 있다고 주장한다. (이문단 좀 매끄럽지 않은것 같네여ㅠ)

The study raises concerns about South Korea's current child protective legislation, as well as child welfare policies, that don't specially include childhood exposure to domestic violence in their definitions of child maltreatment 

이 연구는 아동복지정책뿐만 아니라 현재 남한의 아동보호법에대한 우려를 낳고있다. 그리고 이것들이 정한 아동학대라는 정의 안에 가정폭력에 노출된 아이들은 특별히 포함시키고 있지 않다..( 어떻게 연결시켜야 할지..ㅜㅜ)

The psychiatrist, Choi Ji-wook from the Catholic University of Korea Deajeon St. Mary's hospital, claimed in her study that yong adults who as children frequently witnessed their caregiver being subjected to violence and those who were repeatedly verbally abused in childhood, had weaker connections to two areas of the brain- the hippocampus and the amygdala

가톨릭대 대전 성모병원의 최지욱 정신과의사는 자신의 연구에서 어린시절 돌봄이가 폭력을 사용하는것을 자주 목격했거나 반복적으로 언어적인 폭력을 당한경우 뇌의 두영역인 해마와 편도체간의 연결이 약하다고 말합니다.

The two components of the brain perform roles in the processing of emotional reactions, fear and the consolidation of information from short-term memory to long-term memory. 

뇌에서 이 두가지 요소는 감정적인 반응, 두려움, 단기기억에서 장기기억까지 정보들의 통합을 처리하는 역할을 합니다.

Many overseas studies- which have also discovered similar changes in the key regions of the brains of adult child abuse survivors- have suggested that such changes may leave them more vulnerable to a number of mental disorders as adult, including addiction and depression 

어린시절학대로 부터 살아남은 어른들의 뇌의 주요영역에서 유사한 변화를 발견한 많은 해외의 연구들은 그러한 변화가 그들을 중독이나 우울증을 포함한 많은 정신질환에 취약하게 만들지도 모른다고 주장합니다.

According to UNICEF, children who witnesse domestic violence are more likely to be affected by violence as adults - either as victims or perpetrators. The organization also stressed that children in the earliest years of life are particularly vulnerable, as many studies show that domestic violence is more prevalent in homes with yonder children than those with older children.

유니세프에 따르면 가정폭력을 목격한 아이들은 어른이 돼서 피해자 또는 가해자로서 폭력에 더 영향을 받기 쉽다고 합니다. 그 기관은 또한 삶의 초창기의 아이들은 특히 더 취약하다고 강조합니다. 많은 연구가 가정폭력은 나이있는 애들을 둔 가정보다는 어린애들을 둔 가정에서 더 만연해 있다고 보여줌과 같이

In a number of states in the U.S. , a conviction for domestic violence in the presence of a child may result in harsher penalties, which usually results in a longer jail term or increased fines. In five states- Delaware, Georgia, North Carolina, Oklahoma and Utah - exposing a child to domestic violence is a separate crime that can be charged separately or in addition to the act of violence 

미국의 많은주에서 아이앞에서 이루어진 가정폭력에 대한 판결은 주로 더 오랜기간의 형량또는 높아진벌금을 초래하는 무거운형벌로 이어질수도 있습니다. 
델라웨어,조지아, 북캘리포니아,오클라호마, 유타 이 다섯개의 부에서는  아이를 가정폭력에 노출시키는것은 따로 기소되거나....?? 별개의 범죄입니다..
