스코틀랜드 해상 30㎿ '하이윈드' 가동 (2017)

부유식 풍력발전 단지(floating wind farm)가 영국 스코틀랜드 해상에서 세계 처음으로 선보였다. 

스코틀랜드 동부 애버딘 해안에서 약 25㎞ 떨어진 해상에 설치된 30㎿ 규모의 하이윈드(Hywind)가 18일(현지시간) 가동을 시작했다고 BBC방송 등 영국 언론들이 보도했다.

☆ UK Prime Minister backs offshore wind industry in wake of sector deal


As reported last week, the UK finally launched its long-awaited Offshore Wind Sector Deal which will see the country’s offshore industry invest at least £250 million so as to ensure offshore wind generates more than 30% of the country’s electricity by 2030.
