이 조사는 U.S. News & World Report 와 the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School 와 global brand consultants BAV Consulting 가 합동 조사했으며 36개국의 약 16,000명의 전문가로 부터 조사한 결과랍니다. 다보스 경제포럼에 발표 되었다고 합니다...
초점이 국가 보다는 개인에게 맞춰져 있어 전체적으로 '살기 좋은 나라'로 봐도 괜찮을 것 같습니다.
아무튼...총 60개국 가운데 상위 20위의 순위는!!!!! 두두둥...
한국은 아쉽게도 19위네요...전체적으로 복지국가로 알려진 곳들의 순위가 높습니다.
평가 기준은 다음과 같습니다.
1) Adventure(여행환경) - friendly, fun, pleasant climate, scenic and sexy 등으로 평가됐으며 4% 비중입니다.
2) Citizenship(사회수준) - cares about human rights, cares about the environment, gender equality, progressive, religious freedom, respects property rights, trustworthy and well-distributed political power 등으로 평가됐으며 17% 비중입니다.
3) Cultural Influence(현대문화수준) - culturally significant in terms of entertainment, fashionable, happy, has an influential culture, modern, prestigious and trendy 등으로 평가됐으며 14% 비중입니다.
4) Entrepreneurship(사업용이성) - how entrepreneurial a country is: connected to the rest of the world, educated population, entrepreneurial, innovative, provides easy access to capital, skilled labor force, technological expertise, transparent business practices, well-developed infrastructure and well-developed legal framework 등으로 평가됐으며 17% 비중입니다.
5) Heritage(전통문화자산) - culturally accessible, has a rich history, has good food and many cultural attractions 등으로 평가됐으며 4% 비중입니다.
6) Movers(발전가능성) - different, distinctive, dynamic and unique 등으로 평가됐으며 10% 비중입니다.
7) Open for Business(친기업환경) - bureaucratic, cheap manufacturing costs, corrupt, favorable tax environment and transparent government practices 등으로 평가됐으며 12% 비중입니다.
8) Power(국력) - a leader, economically influential, politically influential, strong international alliances and strong military alliances 등으로 평가됐으며 7% 비중입니다.
9) Quality of Life(삶의 질) - affordable, a good job market, economically stable, family friendly, income equality, politically stable, safe, well-developed public education system and well-developed public health system 등으로 평가됐으며 17% 비중입니다.

재밌네요...참고로 이민게에서 인기 있는 3개 국가 (미국, 캐나다, 호주)와 한국과 부분부분 비교해봤습니다.
다른 나라도 하고 싶었는데 너무 길어질 것 같아서...죄송합니다. (__)

오늘 아이들 학교에서 다양성 콘서트를 하더군요. 약 40개 국가의 뿌리를 가진 학생들이 학교에 다닌다고 합니다.
아이들이 동영상을 만들었는 데 "세상에 하나의 색만 있다면 재미가 없을 거에요." 라고 하는 데 좀 인상적이더라고요.
캐나다는 국가의 힘은 비교적 약하고 날씨도 춥지만 북유럽과는 다른 나름의 이상적인 국가를 만들어 간다는 생각도 듭니다.
한국도 약점을 극복해서 꼭 가까운 미래에 사람이 살기 좋은 나라가 되기를 희망해 봅니다!!!
