One of Biggest Problem of Republic of Korea, recently, is last presidential election which was held 14th Dec. 2012. These days many people demonstrate against the result. Why? National Intelligence Service(NIS) which is intelligence service agency of south Korea like CIA in USA, intervene presidential election. Before the election, they support a specific candidate and abuse who against her in the Internet. Of course, they disguised as normal citizen in the internet. During the campaign, the left wing detected this and announced in the press. Before 2 days of the Election, the police presented result of investigation about the detection was wrong. Then, candidate of the right wing was elected. Few months later, the fact was discovered, at that moment when police did, they did NOT figure out it was fact or not, the detection from the left wing was true. But nothing was changed. Moreover, part of military service was also implicated in this unfair election. Two of biggest national agency supported specific candidate.
Other big social issue is the Korail which is Korean national rail company. A labor union of Korail strikes against policy which denationalize their company. The Government and Korail don't try to negotiate push up the workers to give up.
Because of wrong result of presidential election, Republic of Korea is getting sick, it causes another corrupted problems. Today, a lot of people went out to show their anger against the Government. People made a decision call this flow, the First General Strike. They have plan to hold again for second, third and more.
