어제 호스팅 업체 측에서 이러한 메일이 왔었습니다.
Hey Jongsin,
Last night at around 11pm GMT, we 업데이트d your Rust server. Following that 업데이트 we’ve started to notice a very large memory leak in the server code which is causing busier servers to actually restart. As you can see from the image below, the difference before and after the 업데이트 is clear, with the server eating up a huge amount of memory.
Usually with an issue like this, we’d just raise the limits slightly to reduce the number of server restarts, but this leak is so huge that we can’t possibly do that. Fortunately, when Clanforge restarts a server it forces a save of the world, so you shouldn’t lose any server data due to this issue.
We’ve contacted the developers Facepunch about this issue who have confirmed that they’re working on a fix, and will patch this memory leak as soon as they can. Until then, we ask that you bear this memory leak in mind when contacting our support department.
With early access titles like Rust there are often issues such as this one that need ironing out, but it’s all a part of the process of being directly involved in the development of the game. If you have any questions or queries unrelated to this memory leak, contact our support department at
