다른 블로거가 올린 김치 마티니 등이 있던데...
솔직히 좀 괴상하지만 전 이런 레시피를 개발해볼 정도로 한식에 관심이 있고 열정이 있다는 사실이 참 신기하기도 하고 재밌네요

The thing is, we’re on the same team. We both love and respect Korean cuisine. Perhaps you don’t understand American tastes or their understanding of Korean food. Combining familiar ingredients and recipes with delicious Korean elements is a great way to introduce Korean cuisine to people who are afraid to try it. What have you done to teach Westerners about the unique flavors of Korean food? Besides posting hostile, myopic comments?
Unfortunately many Westerners will never try kimchi because they don’t know what it is. Combining traditional Korean ingredients with foods familiar with Westerners is a great way to break down barriers and make people more comfortable to try authentic dishes. Would love to hear your ideas for educating Westerners about the wonderful flavors of Korean cuisine!
Wow. Wasn’t expecting such a xenophobic response. Food bridges gaps in cultural understanding. These recipes have no intention of denigrating Korea’s rich culinary history. Rather, they are meant to introduce Korea’s beautiful ingredients to curious people who may otherwise never try foods like kimchi or persimmons. It’s a shame That these same people will be turned off by such a hostile response.
Kimchi on pizza would be a great way to introduce Westerners to kimchi! Something familiar + something new and interesting = making people comfortable about using new ingredients in their homes. Also a fantastic way to encourage Westerners to use kimchi in more authentic recipes. Great advice!

어떤 문화가 다른 문화권으로 전파되면 변형이 일어나기 마련인데, 이렇게 충격적?인 방식으로 변형이 되다니ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
서구권에서도 우리나라식으로 변형된 본인나라 요리를 보면 이런 반응보일까 싶기도 하고~~~~~
여튼 한식 세계화사업 깔땐 까더라도 아무 상관없는 순수한 블로거들의 열정을 까지는 말아주세요!!!
